...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of east central
Hempstead and northwestern Nevada Counties through 645 PM CDT...

At 615 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 
about 4 miles northwest of Prescott, moving south at 5 mph. Another 
strong thunderstorm was developing just to the west over Eastern 
Hempstead County just southeast of Blevins, and was nearly 
stationary. 

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Prescott, Emmet and Blevins. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
