The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southwestern Douglas County in east central Kansas...
  Northwestern Franklin County in east central Kansas...

* Until 830 AM CDT.

* At 627 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the 
  advisory area. This advisory replaces the previous flash flood 
  warning. Conditions will continue to improve over the next couple 
  of hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Centropolis, Pomona and Globe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
