Through 10:30 pm, scattered showers and thunderstorms will 
continue to develop and move north northeastward around 20 mph 
across the region. Stronger activity will be capable of producing 
brief heavy downpours with rainfall amounts up to three quarters 
of an inch, wind gusts to 50 mph, and dangerous lightning. 
Motorists should be alert for minor flooding and ponding of water 
on roadways. Thunderstorm wind gusts may produce areas of blowing 
dust.
