The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Bartholomew County in central Indiana...
  West Central Decatur County in central Indiana...
  South Central Shelby County in central Indiana...

* Until 130 AM EDT.

* At 1024 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flood waters 
  covering the road on State Road 252 in far southern Shelby county 
  near State Road 9, with parts being impassable. Radar estimates 
  between 3 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall 
  around 1 inch or more is possible in the warned area. Flash 
  flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  areas between Flat Rock and Geneva and between Hope and Burney.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
