CENTRAL HOCKLEY AND SOUTHWESTERN HALE COUNTIES UNTIL 745 PM CDT...

At 717 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Shallowater, or 14 miles northwest of Lubbock, moving northeast at 25
mph.

Pea size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Shallowater, Reese Center, and New Deal. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Light accumulations of small hail will be possible. Consider moving
to a sturdy structure until this storm passes.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Lubbock Texas.
