The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a

* Dust Advisory for...
  Central Imperial County in southeastern California...

* Until 115 AM PDT.

* At 1214 AM PDT, strong thunderstorm outflow winds with dust were 
  along a line extending from Gordon's Well to 16 miles north of 
  Algodones Dunes to 12 miles south of Cibola, moving west at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Less than two miles visibility with strong wind in excess 
           of 40 mph.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Hazardous travel.

* This includes the following highways...
  CA Interstate 8 between mile markers 31 and 80.
  CA Route 78 between mile markers 14 and 68.
  CA Route 111 between mile markers 1 and 41.

Locations impacted include...
El Centro, Calexico, Brawley, Imperial, Holtville, Gordon's Well, Mt.
Signal, Calipatria, Slab City, Alamorio, Wiest, Bonds Corner, Niland,
Heber and Glamis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.
