Damaging winds will be the primary threat with storms this evening. Elsewhere, isolated severe storms are possible this evening, along with strong thunderstorms that may impact marine interests along the coastal waters. Damaging wind gusts are the primary threat. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Heat indices approaching 105 degrees may require a Heat Advisory Wednesday afternoon. Gale force winds are possible across the area waters, particularly over lower portions of the tidal Potomac and Chesapeake Bay Thursday afternoon into the night. If the storm tracks closer to our area, flooding rains, minor to moderate tidal flooding, and isolated tornadoes would all be threats.
