Patchy fog, dense at times, has developed over portions of central to northern Iowa early this Friday morning. Moist air combined with light winds and partly cloudy skies last night has caused the fog to form. The fog will last through about sunrise and then lift between 6 and 7 am. If traveling early this morning across the region, be on the lookout for rapidly changing visibility. If fog is encountered, slow down and use your low beam headlights. Use caution near intersections and railroad crossings. Allow extra space between you and the vehicle ahead of you. $$ REV
