The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Covington County in south central Alabama...
  Southeastern Escambia County in south central Alabama...
  Okaloosa County in northwestern Florida...
  Northeastern Santa Rosa County in northwestern Florida...

* Until 345 PM CDT.

* At 1237 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to 
  thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have 
  fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Wright, Fort Walton Beach, Crestview, Niceville, Destin, Eglin 
  AFB, Valparaiso, Mary Esther, Florala, Lake Lorraine, Ocean City, 
  Baker, Shalimar, Laurel Hill, Lockhart, Cinco Bayou, Milligan, 
  Silver Springs, Auburn and Garden City.

Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected over the 
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Depending 
on how quickly the line of storms move, an upgrade to a Flash Flood 
warning may be needed.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
