At 558 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles west of Goldsmith, or 17 miles east of Kermit, moving south at
20 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Penwell, Monahans Sandhills State Park and Notrees. 

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 91 and 102.
 
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
western Texas.
