A complex low pressure system S of the waters early today will move NE and strengthen later today, pass just SE of the area tonight, and continue to strengthen to the E and NE of the waters Sat into Sat night as a secondary low forms and passes S and then SE of the area. A high pressure ridge will build E across the waters Sun, then shift E of the region Sun night. Low pressure will approach the New England coast later Sun night, then track NE across the waters Mon while pulling a series of strong fronts across the area. A low pressure trough will cross the waters Mon night followed by the next cold front approaching the coast Tue.
