The chance for isolated to scattered thunderstorms will increase across north Georgia late tonight into early Monday morning. Storms could produce gusty winds, lightning, and heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday... Scattered thunderstorms are likely across much of the area Monday. Some could be strong to isolated severe with hail up to one inch, heavy rain, and frequent lightning as the primary threats. A brief tornado is also possible. Scattered thunderstorms are again likely across much of the area for Tuesday and Tuesday night with another disturbance and frontal system. Some could be strong to severe mainly late Tuesday afternoon into evening with damaging winds, hail, heavy rain, and frequent lightning as the primary threats. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. While some isolated to scattered thunderstorms could occur on Wednesday as a front pushes southward, the overall threat for strong to severe will be decreasing.
