The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS out 20 NM...
  Mississippi Sound...
  North Mobile Bay...
  South Mobile Bay...

* Until 730 AM CDT.

* At 604 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 7 nm northwest
  of Dog River Bridge to 14 nm southwest of Horn Island, moving east
  at 75 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Boats could suffer significant structural 
           damage in high winds. Small craft could capsize in 
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Gaillard Island, Pinto Island, East Fowl River Bridge, Sand Island
  Lighthouse, Bon Secour Bay, Farewell Buoy, Middle Bay Light,
  Mississippi Sound East Of Pascagoula, Battleship Park and Weeks
  Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
