...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 AM EDT THIS MORNING 
FOR CHATHAM, BEAUFORT AND JASPER COUNTIES...

At 640 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a band of torrential rainfall 
extending from isle of Hope and Riverside to Bluffton and Hilton 
Head. As much as 2 to 4 inches of rain has fallen in this area over 
the past hour and a half with the greatest amounts having occurred 
in the Wilmington Island area. At 635 AM, an automated weather 
station in Wilmington Park reported 3.32 inches. While the heaviest 
rains are beginning to move west closer to Downtown Savannah, the 
risk for minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas 
continues.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Tybee Island, Fort Pulaski National 
  Monument, Wilmington Island, Hutchinson Island, Downtown Savannah, 
  Midtown Savannah, Hunter Army Airfield, Windsor Forest, 
  Montgomery, Thunderbolt, Vernonburg, Whitemarsh Island, Forest 
  Beach, Isle Of Hope, Sandfly, Wassaw Island, Folly Field and 
  Hilton Head Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
