...Brief Heavier Snow to Impact Evening Commute in Central Iowa...

A band of heavier snowfall is expected along the Highway 30 and
Interstate 80 corridors through 6 pm including the Des Moines
metro area. Visibilities of one half to one mile can be expected 
with this snow with accumulations of up to an inch or so. The 
lower visibilities and light accumulations will produce poorer 
driving conditions for the evening commute. If traveling early 
this evening, slow down and allow extra time to reach your 
destination.
