Patchy freezing fog is possible throughout central and western Oklahoma, and western north Texas, through the morning. Elevated surfaces may become slippery. .Freezing Drizzle... Patchy light freezing drizzle may begin this evening over southern Oklahoma and western north Texas. Freezing drizzle or freezing rain will then increase in intensity as it spreads north across most of the remainder of Oklahoma overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday... .Wind Chill... Record or near-record cold weather is expected this weekend across all of Oklahoma and north Texas. A persistent north to northeast breeze will cause wind chill equivalent temperatures to drop to -5 to -15 degrees over northern Oklahoma on Friday and Saturday, and -10 to -25 degrees throughout Oklahoma and north Texas on Sunday. Monday is likely to remain very cold, with wind chills around -5 to -15. .Freezing Rain... Freezing rain and freezing drizzle will continue across all but far northwest Oklahoma through the day Wednesday, gradually retreating southeast with time. The freezing rain should end over southeast Oklahoma Thursday afternoon. .Snow... Snow is expected to begin by Friday night, spreading south through the day Saturday. Some freezing rain may mix with the snow early Saturday in southern Oklahoma and north Texas. After a brief break Saturday night and Sunday morning, additional snow is expected to spread east across the region from Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, continuing into Monday.
