URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS THE HIGH ELEVATIONS OF NORTH CAROLINA...

.A cold and moist upper-level low pressure system will cross the 
region tonight through mid-day Monday. This low will produce 
periods of snow showers across the higher elevations of North 
Carolina mountains, especially near the Tennessee border.  
Accumulating snow will create slick roadways and potentially 
hazardous driving conditions.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to noon EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous 
  conditions could impact the morning commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
