Other than a few fair weather clouds over the next couple of
hours, skies will remain clear through the period. Some short 
range guidance is depicting the development of patchy radiation 
fog late this evening, but with a weak frontal boundary already 
beginning to pull drier air into the region, opted to wait to 
actually see fog development before biting on that trend.

Behind the weak front, high pressure will quickly traverse the 
region Tuesday with northeasterly winds veering southeast during 
the afternoon as the high shifts east of the region.

DISCUSSION...A ridge of high pressure is exiting to the east as a
weak and dry cold front moves into East TX and NW LA. This front
will move through the local area tonight with high pressure
rebuilding from the north. Dry weather is expected into Wednesday
as the ridge move across, however a moistening trend will begin 
late Tuesday as the center passes. 

The next system is currently entering the Pacific Northwest and is
expected to move across the Rockies and into the plains by 
Tuesday afternoon. The system is expected to move across the lower
Mississippi Valley Wednesday into early Thursday producing 
numerous showers and a few thunderstorms. 

Dry and cool weather is expected behind this next system with
temperatures running 5-10 degrees below normal through the
weekend. 

Another upper disturbance is expected to push through the region
Sunday and Monday with cold rain possible.

MARINE...Light onshore winds will become offshore tonight. The
light to moderate offshore flow will remain in place into early
Tuesday.

A cold front will move through the region late Wednesday with a
strong offshore flow expected Wednesday night into Thursday.
