* Special Marine Warning for...
  Croatan and Roanoke Sounds...
  S of Currituck Beach Light NC to Oregon Inlet NC out to 20 nm...
  Pamlico Sound...
  S of Oregon Inlet NC to Cape Hatteras NC out to 20 nm...

* Until 830 PM EST.

* At 800 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm producing waterspouts was
  located 9 nm northeast of Pamlico Sound, moving north at 55 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  The Center Of Roanoke Sound, Ar160, Oregon Inlet, Pea Island
  National Wildlife Refuge and Kill Devil Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EST for the adjacent
coastal waters.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
