The lower clouds should begin to scatter out across eastern Oklahoma TAF sites by late afternoon but will likely persist across northwest Arkansas through tonight. A few snow flurries will continue to possible through sunrise across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas as a mid-level shortwave pivots out of the area. Another chilly day is on tap for the area with abundant cloud cover and remaining snow cover each playing a role. Warmer temperatures are anticipated Thursday and especially on Friday as the low level winds become more southerly in advance of the next cold front that is set to move through the region Friday night. A few showers will be possible in association with the frontal passage across southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas. After slightly cooler temperatures on Saturday in the wake of the cold front, another warm up is expected Sunday and into early next week before a cold front sweeps through next Wednesday.
