Rain will move into the area this evening into Saturday morning as a cold front moves through. A few thunderstorms will be possible as the front moves through. Rain totals should be around an inch or less. No severe weather is expected. Cooler temperatures will follow with highs reaching the upper 50s and low 60s with lows dipping down into the upper 20s and 30s. Another upper-level trough will develop out of the Rockies and move south of the forecast area. The trough will bring another round of precipitation to the region on Sunday. A reinforcing shot of cold air will move in behind the trough. There is a chance that the cold air will move in with some lingering moisture around to have a brief mix or change over to snow. Have added snow showers in the forecast for late Sunday night into early Monday morning. This should not be a major impact for the area. Temperatures will drop down into the 20s for lows and and 40s for highs. Another upper level feature will move through the region Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and that will bring another shot of precipitation. Right now, it looks to be mostly rain but there will also be a shot of some snow mixed in as well. && .AVIATION...18Z TAF Set VFR conds will prevail at MEM, MKL and TUP through most of the day today with MVFR cigs expected at JBR before sunset.
