See the 00z aviation discussion. && .PREV DISCUSSION... /issued 341 PM CST Sat Dec 5 2020/ DISCUSSION... Another chance for some freezing fog/fog across portions of the forecast area overnight. It should not be widespread nor dense. Will have to monitor this situation throughout the night. A benign weather pattern is expected over the next several days. A cold front associated with the cutoff low tracking across Mississippi and Alabama will bring slightly cooler conditions to the Midsouth Sunday into Monday, with a warming trend for most of the upcoming work week. Above normal temperatures are expected Tuesday through Friday. High temperatures may approach 60 degrees by midweek. The next chance for rain looks to be next weekend as a front approaches the area. Until then expect mostly dry conditions. && .AVIATION... /00z TAFs/ Light winds and mostly clear skies tonight. Like last night, there is a potential for patchy fog/freezing fog overnight, mainly east of the MS River. That said, confidence is too low to mention in the TAF so will continue VFR forecast. Winds will become northwesterly at around 4-7 kts tomorrow as a cold front moves across the Mid-South. Expect scattered mid-level clouds most of the day with a possibility for some MVFR ceilings toward the TN River by 00z. MJ && .MEG WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES... AR...None. MO...None. MS...None.
