A cold frontal passage earlier this morning will leave cooler 
temperatures across the region. Look for high temperatures to settle 
into the middle 60s for this afternoon. Clear skies and light winds 
will leave a pleasant afternoon for West Central Texas. Expect low 
temperatures to be in the upper 30s and lower 40s for tonight.

Not much change to the extended forecast, with continued warm and
dry weather through the work week. A cold front could bring a
little rain back to the area next weekend. 

An upper level ridge will build back into the southwestern US by
Monday and move eastward into Texas through mid week. We should
see afternoon highs in the 70s Monday through Wednesday, with a
warmup to near 80 degrees by Thursday and Friday. Some morning low
clouds will be possible by mid to late week across the
southeastern counties. Flow becomes more zonal aloft late in the
week, with southeasterly low level flow brining moisture back into
the area. A strong cold front will approach the area Saturday
night, which may bring a few showers to the area. Timing is rather
uncertain this far out, but it bears watching.

VFR conditions and clear skies are expected through the next 24
hours. Northeast winds, initially 6-12 knots at midday today, 
will decrease this afternoon. Our southern terminals will have 
light winds tonight. Farther north at KABI, expect southeast to 
south winds 5-6 knots during the night. On Monday, south or 
south-southwest winds will increase to 6-9 knots by midday.
