Clear skies and a much cooler night ahead in the wake of our
latest frontal passage. Forecast on track and no update required.

AVIATION...
The bulk of this forecast period should see VFR conditions and
light winds as high pressure takes command of our area weather.
Main question remains fog potential prior to sunrise as guidance
is all over the place. As of now, much of the guidance shows 
visiblities remaining P6SM through the period, but where guidance
indicates restrictions to visibility, it's been tending to hit
them hard (especially KLCH)...for now, kept vsbys similar to
inherited, but perhaps tweaked down at KLCH to account for some of
the guidance.

DISCUSSION...A cold front is stretching from the Lower
Atchafalaya River Basin northeast across the Appalachians and 
into eastern Great Lakes. High pressure is building east across 
the mid Mississippi Valley. 

As the cold front departs the area a drier and slightly cooler air
mass will filter in. A secondary push of drier air will work in
for early Friday. Temperatures will be closer to climo averages, 
however we will remain slightly above normal.

Low pressure will move across the plains Saturday into Sunday.
This will push another cold front across the region Sunday. A few
showers may be possible with the front. Temperatures are expected
to fall to slightly below climo norms by early next week.

MARINE...A light to moderate offshore flow will continue into
Friday. Winds will become onshore Friday through Sunday ahead of
the next front which will move into the coastal waters late
Sunday.
