.DISCUSSION...Moisture has increased somewhat over the burn site
today with the approach of a weakening storm system. This will
result in a chance of showers this afternoon. However, with
transport winds remaining quite light, clearing indices will
remain below 500. With the passage of what is left of the system
tomorrow, transport winds and instability will increase enough for
clearing index values to move above 500. More stable conditions
will build in on Thursday before winds shift to the southwest and
increase dramatically for Friday ahead of an approaching storm
system.
