771 FXUS63 KGRB 021048 AFDGRB Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Green Bay WI 448 AM CST Mon Nov 2 2020 Updated aviation portion for 12Z TAF issuance .SHORT TERM...Today...Tonight...and Tuesday Issued at 235 AM CST Mon Nov 2 2020 Northwest upper flow but rising heights mean dry and milder weather for Wisconsin today and much of the remainder of the week. The middle clouds across the region this morning should exit shortly after daybreak, with sunny skies and milder temperatures in the afternoon. Highs should around average for this time of the year. Election Day will not have any weather concerns, with highs in the 50s and sunny skies. .LONG TERM...Tuesday Night Through Sunday Issued at 235 AM CST Mon Nov 2 2020 Quiet weather and above normal temps are expected through the long term forecast. Generally zonal flow remains in place through Thursday. Upper flow amplifies Friday as a long wave trough approaches the west coast, which causes broad ridging across the east half of the country. As the trough moves across the Rockies this weekend, this ejects a sfc system into the Plains with the low moving north into Manitoba and Ontario, which eventually sends a cold front across WI sometime in the late Sunday into Monday time frame. Still far too early to infer many details, so will continue with a blended solution for PoPs Sunday into Monday. Current temperatures look warm enough to support all rain. Temperatures will be about 15 degrees above normal starting Wednesday, with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s, and lows in the upper 30s to middle 40s. Expect similar temperatures through the rest of the week, peaking on Friday or Saturday, then cooling off slightly early next week. && .AVIATION...for 12Z TAF Issuance Issued at 448 AM CST Mon Nov 2 2020 VFR conditions are expected today, with just some middle and high clouds at times.
