Gusty southerly winds will prevail again today, helping keep temperatures up. Highs should be pretty close to where they were yesterday, generally in the mid and upper 80s. Low clouds developing across the Hill Country early this morning will spread across much of the area by sunrise, but will begin to lift and dissipate by mid to late morning, leaving mostly sunny conditions for the afternoon. More of the same tonight, with lows in the 60s. && .LONG TERM... (Thursday through Tuesday) Issued at 416 AM CDT Wed Oct 21 2020 Warm and dry conditions will persist across the area through Thursday. Then, a cold front will bring cooler conditions to the region on Friday. Warmer temperatures will make a return rather quickly for the weekend before an even stronger cold front moves in late Sunday.
