A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA 
  out 20 nm...
  Coastal waters from Port Fourchon Louisiana to Lower Atchafalaya 
  River LA from 20 to 60 NM...
  Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to 
  Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM...

At 229 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from Timbalier Bay to 24 nm east of
Ship Shoal 198 to 9 nm east of Ship Shoal 224, moving south at 5
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CDT for southeastern
Louisiana...and the adjacent coastal waters.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
