...The Flood Warning is now in effect until early Monday afternoon...

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Calcasieu River Near Salt Water Barrier.
* Until Monday afternoon.
* At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 4.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This 
  approaches the flood of record.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday was 4.4 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to rise above flood stage late 
  this afternoon to 15.6 feet tomorrow morning. It will fall below 
  flood stage again Monday morning.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.0 
  feet on 10/1/1913.
