Mid-level moisture working north through western Arizona overnight will continue north across southwest Utah today. This moisture will fuel shower and isolated thunderstorm activity beginning early this afternoon and continuing in early this evening. These showers and thunderstorms will generate little if any rainfall, with gusty and erratic outflow winds and some lightning. Critical fire weather conditions could exist as a result of the showers/storms this afternoon through early this evening. Moisture will continue to increase Sunday and on into early next week. Showers along with a few thunderstorms will form again over southwest Utah Sunday afternoon. Wetting rains will remain unlikely with this next round of showers/storms.
