This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited flooding risk.
  Elevated lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms will overspread the region today and
this evening. The primary hazards are cloud-to-ground lightning
and localized heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue into Tuesday with an
additional threat for localized heavy rainfall. Chances for 
thunderstorms will then continue through Friday or Saturday with 
a stalled front over the region. 

Excessive rainfall and flooding will be possible throughout the 
week in locations that receive multiple rounds of thunderstorms.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
