Expect highs in the lower 90s each day with heat index values in the triple digits. Isolated to scattered storms will be possible each day. A trough builds in over the Great Lakes region. A ridge amplifies over the Rockies. A weak cold front as a result should pass through the Mid-South on Tuesday, bringing a new round of showers and thunderstorms. This pattern change is the relief we have all been wanting. Cooler temperatures and lower humidity are on tap as we head into August. && .AVIATION... Diurnal convection is dissipating a little more quickly this evening. Mainly VFR conds through the period with isolated- scattered SHRAs/TSRAs Sunday afternoon. Winds light overnight becoming S/SSW at 5-7 kts Sunday. SJM && && .MEG WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES... AR...None. MO...None. MS...None. TN...None. && $$
