Only a few showers or thunderstorms remain across the Mid-South
this evening. The lingering convection should die out by midnight.
Made some minor tweaks to POPS and sky conditions. Otherwise, rest
of forecast looks good.

Typical Summertime heat and humidity will persist across the Mid-
South over the weekend. Expect highs in the lower 90s each day 
with heat index values in the triple digits. Isolated to scattered
storms will be possible each day.

A trough builds in over the Great Lakes region. A ridge amplifies
over the Rockies. A weak cold front as a result should pass 
through the Mid-South on Tuesday, bringing a new round of showers 
and thunderstorms. This pattern change is the relief we have all 
been wanting. Cooler temperatures and lower humidity are on tap as
we head into August.

Diurnal convection is dissipating a little more quickly this
evening. Mainly VFR conds through the period with isolated- 
scattered SHRAs/TSRAs Sunday afternoon. Winds light overnight 
becoming S/SSW at 5-7 kts Sunday.
