At 529 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Wintergreen, or
8 miles south of Waynesboro. The storm is nearly stationary.

Wind gusts of up to 40 mph and heavy rainfall are possible with this 
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Waynesboro, Crozet, Crimora, Sherando, Wintergreen, Afton,
Fishersville, Lyndhurst, Nellysford, Greenwood, Hermitage,
Batesville, Yancey Mills, Greenfield and Afton Mountain.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
