...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN ELBERT COUNTY UNTIL 300
PM EDT...

At 225 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Elberton, or 6 miles west of Nancy Hart State Park,
moving east at 5 mph.

Locations to be impacted include...
Elberton, Nancy Hart State Park, Middleton, Lake Russell, Fortsonia,
Sweet City and Rice Town.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail and very heavy rainfall rates
up to 2 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio and tv
stations, as well as local cable tv outlets for additional
