The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  West central Jefferson County in central Kentucky...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 421 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  One to one and a half inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Louisville, Shively, Audubon Park, Lynnview, Parkway Village, Minor
  Lane Heights, Okolona, Fairdale, Newburg and St. Dennis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
