Outlook: There is a slight chance of thunderstorms late this afternoon and early evening. Hazards: Lightning, gusty winds, small hail, heavy downpours. Timing: Thunderstorms possible from 500 PM to 1000 PM EDT. Discussion: A hot and humid airmass will be in place today, which may produce a few thunderstorms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Outlook: Thunderstorms will be possible at times from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday next week. Severe storms are not expected at this time, but heavy downpours will likely be a threat. Lightning is a threat from any thunderstorm. Discussion: Remnant tropical moisture from Cristobal may set the stage for thunderstorm chances next week.
