...NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter in Winchester offline...

NOAA Weather Radio station WNG-554, transmitting out of
Winchester on a frequency of 162.525 MHz, is off the air due to
a suspected phone line issue. We have contacted technicians to 
fix the problem, but do not have a definite time of restoral at 
this time.

During the outage, persons across the listening area can get
their weather information from other stations. They include:

WWF-44 out of Fort Payne, transmitting on 162.500 MHz.
KIH-20 out of Huntsville, transmitting on 162.400 MHz.

The latest weather information is also available at our website,
at http://weather.gov/huntsville.
