The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  South central Swain County in western North Carolina...

* Until 1100 PM EDT Monday.

* At 459 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated that minor flooding was 
  continuing along the Little Tennessee River in Swain County. Water 
  levels have either crested or will shortly, likely falling below 
  advisory levels by late tonight.  

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
