Critical fire weather conditions are expected to continue through the rest of the afternoon hours and into the evening hours over Huerfano, Las Animas, and Baca Counties. Critical fire weather conditions return tomorrow afternoon for Fremont County and the I-25 corridor from Pueblo to New Mexico. Gusty winds, low RH values, and dry fuels are all expected tomorrow. The San Luis Valley will have very strong winds, but the RH values will be marginal, so expect near critical and isolated critical fire weather conditions tomorrow afternoon. A cold front is expected to develop over the plains tomorrow evening and will bring light snowfall to Teller County and northern El Paso County. The Continental Divide is expected to have scattered snow showers now through Saturday.
