Drizzle will be possible this evening into the overnight period across the western half of the CWA. Winds will be from the northeast overnight shifting to the southeast tomorrow. Lows tonight look to dip to around 30 degrees with high tomorrow reaching to the 40s. .LONG TERM...(Sunday night through Saturday) Issued at 318 PM CDT Sat Mar 14 2020 An upper level low will spin around the Desert Southwest through the long term section, ejecting disturbances towards the Central High Plains throughout the week. The first disturbance will bring a chance of precipitation to central Kansas Sunday night into Monday morning. A second disturbance will move through the area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The third and more powerful disturbance will move through the area Wednesday through Thursday night bringing a good chance of precipitation across the CWA. Upslope flow across western Kansas will allow cloudy skies to continue through Wednesday with some clearing Thursday into Friday. As for temperatures, highs will reach into the 60s Monday before being pushed down into the 40s to low 50s Tuesday.
