At 6:48 National Weather Service doppler radars indicated an area
of showers and thunderstorms approaching the area from central 
Oklahoma. Another cluster of showers and storms stretched across 
east central Oklahoma through northwest Arkansas. Both areas were 
moving northeast at around 50 mph.

Through 9 AM... showers and storms are expected to increase across
portions of eastern Oklahoma and northwestern Arkansas. Rainfall 
rates up to 1 inch per hour will be possible at times. This may 
lead to localized flash flooding, especially within low lying 
areas. Remember, if you see a flooded roadway, turn around, don't 
drown.
