Rain will become more widespread across the area this morning as an abundance of moisture streams into the Borderland. Rain will persist for most of the day, and we could even see some isolated thunder this afternoon, particularly in Hudsepth County. Precip totals will range from 0.10-0.50" in the lowlands with over an inch possible in the Sacramento Mountains. Snow levels will remain high enough to only bring light snow to locations above 8500 feet in the Sacramentos. Southwesterly winds will increase to 15-20mph this afternoon. Rain will come to an end from west to east throughout the later evening hours. Drier air will return for Monday allowing min RHs to drop into the mid 30s to upper 20s.
