448 FXUS64 KTSA 291012 AFDTSA Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Tulsa OK 412 AM CST Wed Jan 29 2020 .DISCUSSION... Light rain will be ending early this morning across the forecast area. A little light snow or snow flurries will remain possible on the far northwest fringe of the precipitation shield across far northeast Oklahoma, but little or no impacts are expected. The clouds will likely hang around for an extended period, which will limit the diurnal temperature range over the next couple days. Another upper level storm system will bring a slight chance for a few light showers across parts of southeast Oklahoma and west central Arkansas Thursday night. Some clearing may finally occur by Friday afternoon, with abundant sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures then expected over the weekend. Temperatures will warm into the 60s in most places Saturday, with 70s common in many areas Sunday. An increase in cloud cover will knock a few degrees off temperatures Monday, but it will still be an unseasonably warm day. A few showers will be possible Monday and Monday night, especially across far eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. A cold front is still on schedule to move across the area Monday night, but the airmass behind the front does not look to be overly cold for early February. Temperatures towards the middle of next week will be just a few degrees below the seasonal normals, with little chance of any precipitation. Went a bit cooler on highs and warmer on lows than the National Blend of Models temperatures the next couple days, but then went well above the NBM highs over the weekend, in line with the ECMWF MOS. && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
