...Summary...
Minor damage occurred south of Piedmont, SC associated with a weak 
tornado. Damage consisted mainly of uprooted trees in open areas, 
however, as the tornado entered a residential area it dislodged and 
destroyed a carport on Smith Drive. The tornado path length was about 
0.56 miles and the path width was about 160 yards.
