...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CST
FOR NORTHEASTERN SEQUOYAH...ADAIR AND SOUTHEASTERN CHEROKEE
COUNTIES...

At 412 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles southeast of Eldon to 4 miles east of 
Sallisaw, moving northeast at 60 mph. Wind damage to power poles and 
quarter size hail has been reported by emergency management in 
Sallisaw.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
