Mild weather experienced on Monday will give way to more seasonable 
conditions today. The return to colder weather will be short lived 
though, as a broad ridge over the eastern half of the country will 
guarantee that we will experience above normal temperatures from 
Christmas Day through the end of the week. Fair dry weather will 
promise problem free weather for holiday travelers through at LEAST 
Christmas night. The next chance of some mixed wintry precipitation, 
especially for the North Country, is expected Thursday night into 
Friday.
