No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. A storm system will move into central sections of the country this weekend, bringing two rounds of snow and freezing drizzle to the area at times on Sunday and Monday. On Sunday afternoon, the wintry weather will likely transition to rain across much of the area before transitioning back to a wintry mix Sunday evening into Monday. Generally up to 3 inches of snow are expected. The highest snow totals are expected along and north of Highway 54 where locally higher amounts up to 4 inches may be possible across central Missouri. A glaze to a tenth of an inch of freezing drizzle will be possible north of Highway 60. Confidence has increased that at least the northern portions of the forecast area will be impacted by wintry weather Sunday and Monday, but there could still be a small shift north or south in the wintry weather. A few rumbles of thunder may occur across far southern Missouri Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. No severe weather is expected.
