The advisory has been cancelled for the White Mountains as only
minor snowfall looks likely through the rest of the day today. It
is still recommended to use caution if traveling through any
passes as roads may be slick.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON ABOVE 7000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 7000 feet. Up to 3 inches of new snow
  are possible between 7000 and 9000 feet and 6 to 8 inches
  possible above 9000 feet. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Sierra Slopes.

* WHEN...Now through 4 PM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and hazardous. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
