760 AWUS83 KFGF 081127 RRA RWSFGF Area Weather Outlook National Weather Service Grand Forks ND 500 AM CST Sun Dec 8 2019 Cold front moving through will bring wintry mix of freezing drizzle and sleet early this morning, before transitioning to light snow for the day. Gusty northerly winds to 35 mph and falling temperatures behind the front will linger through the day. This may lead to patchy blowing snow. Accumulating snow enters the Devils Lake basin this afternoon moving east through tonight before ending in west-central Minnesota Monday morning. Generally 3 to 6 inches is expected south of the U S Highway 2 corridor, however banding snow may create locally higher amounts near the I 94 corridor. All of these may lead to hazardous travel conditions. After the snow comes to an end an arctic air mass moves in with wind chills around -30 possible in the early to mid work week. $$ FGF
