(Today and Tonight) .Another Cold Front and Cooler... Another cold front has moved across Texas, and it's producing gusty winds, from the north, early this morning. This front will result in much cooler temperatures today. Although winds will diminish later this afternoon, cool air will remain in place tonight, as temperatures fall into the lower to mid 30s. LONG TERM... (Saturday through Thursday) .Possible Rain and Temperature Swings... Temperatures rebound for this weekend, before another cold front early next week brings cooler air and the potential for rain. Another cold front still looks likely for Monday, and it's associated upper disturbance may help initiate showers beginning Monday. The flow aloft by Monday will shift and be mainly from the southwest. As the upper trough axis moves across West Central Texas Tuesday into Wednesday, rain chances increase. Then rain chances diminish, as the upper system moves farther east. Cooler temperatures, with the early-week cold front, will rebound by late week, as low-level flow returns to West Central Texas, from the south. && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
